I love to garden, especially in the fall, and I am especially enjoying my harvest this year! It's almost supper time and I am back from the garden, where I was busy gathering greens for a salad and herbs for my homemade chicken soup. After filling my basket with turnips, celery, carrots and parsley for the soup (recipe to follow), I took a few minutes to gaze at my growing greens. These cold weather lovers thrive in the cool autumn weather and according to our North Georgia forecast we are in for some very cool weather this week!
